Rewarding Centro owners
Palm, a leading provider of smart phones and PDA’s, needed to reach out to new owners of their popular Centro device and reward these new customers with special savings on accessories that enhance the value and experience of using their Centro. Palm also wanted to provide additional information and tips for new users to become as comfortable and productive as possible when they turn to their Centro to make a call, get email, surf the web or use one of the hundreds of exciting applications that have been developed exclusively for the Centro.
To support these objectives, we worked with our developer partner Thought Matrix, to create, develop and deploy a targeted email campaign that delivered these benefits in a convenient and easy to absorb medium that was familiar to Centro users.
This targeted campaign helped lift sales of accessories for Palm and raised awareness of the many applications and peripherials available for this device. Palm has continued to successfully invest in this effort by creating a opportunity for Palm to build lasting customer loyalty with an efficient and effective campaign. The positive sales results and customer feedback underscore the success of this engagement.
